I see London, I see France...
Okay, I really just see Oxford and rural Devon, but who cares! The Logician family has just returned from a long visit to England. The MiniLogician was especially good at traveling (the PinkLogician gets a bit nervous when she's away from home too long) and elicited comments from people everywhere we went about how pretty, friendly, smart, and well-behaved she is. We had read that the English prefer dogs to babies and were expecting people to be annoyed by the MiniL, but quite the opposite was true. Here's a picture of the MiniL being passed around a pub by its proprietress:

Here's the whole family just after having a pint in honor of St. Patrick's day (at 10AM in a 13th century pub):

Finally, here's a good picture of the ladyLogicians riding a bus (not very English-y, but a great picture of both of us):

Overall, I just can't get over how nice everyone we met was (and how hard it was to drive on the left side of the road). The MiniL can't get over all the pigeons she saw everywhere. ("Birdie! Birdie!")
(Addendum: we didn't spend much time in pubs at all...these are pictures of our two pub visits. They just happen to be some of the most fun pictures we got. Just didn't want anyone to think we spent ten days taking our baby out drinking.)
